In Memory Of Those We Have Lost...

Texas State Memorial Garden

Establishing a Long-Lasting Tribute and Legacy

Texas State’s Memorial Garden will provide a long-lasting tribute and legacy to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of those who have passed away.

In 2009, the Texas State Pride and Traditions Committee chose the grounds between Flowers and Lampasas halls near the Bell Tower as the Memorial Garden site.

Memorial Opportunities

There are three memorial opportunities in the Garden. Each features a bronze plaque. The price of each memorial includes the cost of the plaque and installation.

$400 Displayed on a brick placed on surrounding Garden walls

$750 Displayed on stone tablet in center of Garden

$1,000 Displayed under iron bench
