Family Weekend

The Division of Student Affairs and the Parents Association hosted the first campus-wide Family Weekend in 2002. The event is now called Family Round-Up and last year, we had over 1,300 people attend.

All students and their families are invited to attend a fun weekend of activities while enjoying each other’s company in Sewell Park on the beautiful Texas State University campus. Family Round Up allows families to spend some time with their students in the collegiate setting while becoming more familiar with the campus and while meeting other parents and family members.

We have a diverse schedule of events for all participants. Popular events include tours of Old Main, athletic events, river floats, glass-bottom boat tours, and our community browse session -- new families get to know a little bit more about what’s offered in the San Marcos community and about campus programs.
